AIGF&B to Advance Cold Plasma Technology for Emergency Water and Wastewater Treatment

AIGF&B, a large multinational company engaged in the development and production of RTD and alcoholic beverages, is advancing the implementation of cold plasma technology at emergency water production facilities to improve water purification efficiency. The solution focuses on removing complex contaminants, including PFAS and nanoplastics, in line with growing global water safety standards.

The company operates a strong scientific and technical base where multiple water treatment technologies are tested and validated. This enables AIGF&B to rapidly assess and deploy innovative solutions, including cold plasma, for both drinking water systems and the treatment of industrial wastewater generated during beverage production.

To support this initiative, AIGF&B plans to launch a joint project with the Water Research Foundation (USA). The collaboration will focus on validation and scaling of the technology, supporting its broader adoption across international markets.
